Position: PHP Web Developer
Job Description:
Applicant will be responsible for building and maintaining Mediaguide's customer facing web products.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop / maintain applications and Web Services using PHP and Oracle.
- Troubleshoot functional and technical issues with existing applications and perform fixes/enhancements as needed.
- Create technical documentation, test software and perform other tasks needed to complete projects.
Job Requirements:
- Applicant should have at least 2-4 years experience with PHP, JavaScript, XML, HTML and Oracle PL/SQL.
- Knowledge of Java or Perl a plus.
- Applicant should have the ability to properly prioritize, status, and work multiple tasks.
- Applicant should possess ability and desire to work within a small group of individual contributors.
- Candidate must possess excellent technical abilities, excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Applicant should have the ability to quickly learn new applications, technologies and be able to understand how they work with a minimum of training and documentation.
